Rope is about more than just the pattern.
It is about connection, and about exploring each other and oneself in new and exciting ways.
Inspired by similar events happening all over Europe, Northern Knots is an attempt at creating an event where rope enthusiasts from Norway and other countries can gather and share knowledge. Rope as a craft is blossoming all over Norway, and this event seeks to both plant new seeds and to encourage those already growing.
GENERAL INFO
The event will take place 1st to 3rd of August. It will take place at a cabin placed between Kristiansund and Molde, and costs 3000 NOK per person.
This price includes food for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 3 courses where you choose between 6 different topics.
There will also be shows and rope jams held during the weekend.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
The main organizer of this event is Esra, a rigger and rope model who recently also started holding workshops and other events in the Trondheim area.
As part of both the kink and queer community, they believe that rope should be for everyone, no matter your gender, weight, looks or origins. Northern Knots will be an event that seeks to promote diversity in rope.
